Emperor of Russia; this marriage was dissolved 20 Mar. 1820. The Grand Duke renounced his succession to the throne of Russia in 1822, and d. 27 June, 1831, having m. (morganatic) 2ndly—24 May, 1820, Jane, Countess Grudzinska, created Princess de Lowicz, who d. 29 Nov. 1831.
