From this marriage descended THOMAS HESKETH, lord of Hesketh, RufEord, Holmes, Hohiieswood, Jlartholnie, Great Harwood and Howick, M.P. Preston, Lauc. 1725; m. Martha, only dau. of James St. Amand, of London, Ijy Elizabeth, dau. of Sir WilUam Juxon, Bart, (ext.), and had 2 sons, SIR THOilAS HESKETH, Bart, so created 5 May, 1761, with remainder in default of male issue to the issue male of his brother Robert; b. 23 Sept. 1723 (V 21 Jan. 1727/8); d. s. p. 4 Mar. 1778, having m. Hamet, dau. and coheir of Ashley Cooper, Esq. clerk of the parliaments (E. COWPER) ; she d. 15 Jan. 1807. SIR ROBERT HESKETH, s. as 2nd Baronet, had licence 1792, to bear the surname and arms of Juxox; b. 23 April, 1729; d. 30 Dec. 1796, ha-ing m. 19 April. 1748, Sarah, dau. of William Plumbe, of Wavertree, co. Lane; she d. 1792, having had issue. His great-great-gi-andson, SIR THOMAS GEORGE FERMOR-HESKETH, 5th Baronet (on the death of his father Sir Thomas Henry in 1843), col. 2nd Lane. mil. 1852/72, M.P. Preston 1862/72. He and his 2nd son, Thomas George, w ere authorised to take the surname of Fermor before that of Hesketh, and to bear the arms of Fermor and Hesketh quarterly by r.l. 8 Nov. 1867 ; b. 11 Jan. 1825; d. 20 Aug. 1872, having m. 10 Mar. 1846, Lady Anna Maria Arabella Fermor, eldest dau. of Thomas WiUiam, 4th Earl of Pomfiet (ext.); she d. 25 Feb. 1870, having had 3 sons and 3 daus. (1) Sir Thomas Henry Fermor-Hesketh, 6tll Baronet ; b. 9 Jan. 1847 ; d. imm. 28 May, 1876. (2) Sir Thomas George, 7th and present Baronet.
