Mary Waring, and left issue. /8/ Beverley, a noted royalist officer in the revolutionary war, he raised a regiment (the King's loyal Americans) for the service of the crown, commanded by his sou, and recruited principally from his own tenantry (for some account of him see Washington Irviug's Life of Washington, vol. iv. Gents. Mag. Woodward), and had an only child, Elizabeth Frances, m. 7 Aug. 1861. to William Moles- worth Cole Acton, hon. col, in the army 1S81, late major 77th regt. (see Kinglake's Crimea, vol. v. p. 423), superintending officer recruiting staff, s. p. (3) Oliver De Lancy, col. 2nd or Queen's regt.; b. Mav 1800; d. 1865. (4) John De Lancy, capt.
