He m. 1st, EUzabeth, dau. of Francis Scot, of Mangertou; 2udly, Elizabeth, dau. of Sir William Bennett, of Grubbett, and had 2 daus.; he m. 3rdly, Barbara Ker, of Littledeauhy. By his 1st wife he had ^-ith 5 daus. 5 sons, (1) Sir Patrick, s. as 2nd Baronet. (2) Charles, of Palace HiU. a staimch supporter of the Stuarts, and was forfeited in 1715, having m. Margaret, sister of Alexander, who voted at Peers' elections as 6th Lord Ruther- ford, and had with 3 daus. an only son, Jons', of Belford, co. Roxburgh, also espoused the cause of the Stuarts, and lost his property ; m.
