R.x.; b. 5 Mar. 1784; d. 1 July, 1845. having m. 1st, at Bagdad, 8 Jan. 1812, Catherine, dau. of Sir James Mackintosh, Knt. recorder of Bombay (this marriage dissolved by Act of Parlia- ment 22 June, 6 George IV. 1825). He m. 2ndly — 5 April. 1827, Eliza, eldest dau. of Rev. (Jeorge Davies, B.D. rector of Cranfield, Berks ; she d. s. p. 27 Oct. 1862.
