The victorious European Revolution, however, no matter how its course in the sundry countries may be fashioned, can, in consequence of the absence of other revolutionary classes, transfer the power only to the proletariat. Thus the United States of Europe represents the only conceivable form of the dictatorship of the European proletariat.
