The shops.23. The shops of Crystals, where you have a world of curiosities in Crystal: as Watch-cases, Twizer-cases, little Boxes, Pictures cut in Crystal, Crosses and Beads of Crystal, &c. The Shops also of Silk-stockings which are hugely esteemed in Italy because they are twice as strong as ours, and very massive. The Shops, in fine, of Embroderers, whose embrodery in gold and silver is the best in the world, and the cheapest.

The Academy of Wits.24. Here is an Academy of Wits, called the Nascosti, or Hidden men.
