6th; this bird may be termed intermittent here, for, though in some seasons they appear, in others they are scarcely seen. Ring-Ouzel (Turdus torquatus), April 7th. Dunlin Sandpiper (Tringa alpina), April 17th; these birds are increasing in numbers here. Whin-bush Chat (Pratincola rubetra), May 2nd.
