��** The rest of the Andante con nioto suits my music now very well in the alteration, as you wrote it out, but I should prefer there the first, and in the begin- ning {Andante sostenuto) the second version. And why not? So the Andante con moto might begin: ' But the Lord hath upraised one, the Lord,' etc. But if this is against your conscience, leave here also the second version. For the beginning is much more important.
