Our ninth proposition is, that St. John says that this mighty angel was clothed with a cloud, and the prophet Daniel says that this man was in linen. Cloud is an emblem of trouble and commotion; and the steam-engine set one foot upon the sea and the other upon the earth in a time of trouble and commotion.
