His power and majesty. Then will all nations mourn because of the judgment that awaits them. The last words of this verse express the certainty that these things must come to pass. They are also a prayer: "So let it be. Amen."
8. Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, and omega the last. Hence Christ calls Himself "alpha and omega, the beginning and the end." [1]
