The next day alfo, having a good obfervation of the fun in the meridian, all equations adopt- ed from a mean, I found the latitude of Teawa, the capital of Atbara, to be 14° 2' 4" north. With regard to longitude, Hor-Cacamoot is about fix miles eaft of Teawa, which is near- ly under the fame meridian with Ras el Feel, fo there was no occafion for any obfervation on that fubjed.
