The National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) (Benefit) Amendment Regulations, 1957

Coming into Force 24th June, 1957

The Industrial Injuries Joint Authority, in exercise of powers conferred by section 18 (3) of the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act, 1946(a)[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:

Citation, interpretation and commencement

1. These regulations, which may be cited as the National Insurance (Indus trial Injuries) (Benefit) Amendment Regulations, 1957 , shall be read as one with the National Insurance ( Industrial Injuries) (Benefit) Regulations, 1948(b)[2] (hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations"), and shall come into operation on the 24th June , 1957.

Amendment of regulation 7 of the principal regulations and revocation of amending regulations
2. In paragraph (1) of regulation 7 of the principal regulations, as amended(c)[3], (which paragraph provides that a beneficiary shall not be entitled
