A most pleasing sight it was, in two instances, to see fathers sitting in a class being taught writing and arithmetic by their own sons, aged respectively twelve and seventeen, the fathers not considering it at all infra dig. A boy teaching an old man to read, and explaining to him difficult passages in the Gospel, is always a pleasing picture, and one always feels full of joy to see the lads so willing to pass on to others the teaching one has been privileged to impart to them.
