BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the thirteenth day of March, in the thirty seventh year of the Independence of the United States of America, Lewis Morel, of the said district, hath deposited in this office the title of a hook, the tight whereof be claims as propriotoi, in the words following, to wit:

"Reports of Cases argued and adjudged in the Supreme Court of
"the United States, fin February term, 1810. Vol. VI. By Willias
"Chanqh, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of the District of Co
"lumbia. Potius ignoratio juris litigiosa est, quam scientia.
"Cic. de legibus, dial. i.

In conformity to the act of Congress of the United States, en-titled, "An act for the encouragement of learning, by securing the
"copies "of maps, charts and books, to the authors and proprietors of
"such copies, during the times therein mentioned;" and also to an act, entitled, "An act, supplementary to an act, entitled an act for
"the encouragement of learning, by securing the copies of maps,
"charts and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies, cu-
"ring the times therein mentioned, and extending the benefits there of
"to the arts of designing, engraving and etching historical and other
"prints."
