'^° amend the Departments of Commerce, Justice, and State, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1986, to extend the life of the Commission on the Ukraine Famine.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Departments of Commerce, Justice, and State, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1986 (Public Law 99-180; 99 Stat. 1157), is amended under the heading "COMMISSION ON THE UKRAINE FAMINE"—
(1) in section 3(2), by striking out "two years after the organizational meeting of the Commission held under section 6(a)" and inserting in lieu thereof "June 22, 1990"; and (2) in section 4(b), by adding at the end the following: "A vacancy in the Commission shall be filled in the manner in which the original appointment was made.". Approved June 17, 1988.
