LEGISLATIVE HISTORY OF H.R 3 APPLICABLE.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Except as provided in subsection (b), the legislative history of a title, subtitle, part, subpart, chapter, subchapter, section, or other provision of the conference report to accompany H.R. 3 of the 100th Congress (H. Rept. 100-576) shall be treated (along with any other le^slative history developed by reason of this Act) as being the legislative history of the provision of this Act that has the same numerical or alphabetical designation as the provision of the conference report. Ob) EXCEPTIONS.—

(1) Subsection (a) does not apply to section 2424(a) of this Act. (2) The legislative history for subtitle F of title VI of the conference report to accompany H.R. 3 shall be treated as the legislative history for subtitle E of title VI of this Act.
