(b) OTHER CONDITIONS.—In the event that by operation of this Act, any land is transferred to and vested in the United States, the Secretary shall retain such land and shall manage it for public open space and recreation unless the Secretary determines, in accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, that such land is suitable for disposal, in which case the Secretary may dispose of such land through exchange or otherwise. Approved August 22, 1988.
