PUBLIC LAW 101-427—OCT. 15, 1990 104 STAT. 927 Public Law 101-427 101st Congress An Act To redesignate The National System of Interstate and Defense Highways as The Oct. 15, 1990 Dwight D. Eisenhower System of Interstate and Defense Highways. [S. 2806] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That— 23 USC 101 note. (a) notwithstanding any other provision of law, The National System of Interstate and Defense Highways shall be redesignated as "The Dwight D. Eisenhower System of Interstate and Defense Highways"; and (b) any reference before the date of enactment of this Act in any provision of law, regulation, map, sign, or otherwise to The National System of Interstate and Defense Highways shall be deemed to refer, on and after such date, to The Dwight D.
