CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS—MAY 15, 1990 104 STAT. 5155 Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That, as part of the observance of the SOOth anniversary of the discovery of America, there shall be prepared a volume describing works of art honoring Christopher Columbus, as displayed, both permanently and in special exhibits, in the Capitol and at other locations within the Capitol grounds. The volume shall— (1) be entitled "Columbus in the Capitol"; (2) contain descriptions and illustrations of such works of art; and (3) be prepared under the direction of the Joint Committee on Printing, with the assistance of the OfiEice of the Architect of the Capitol and such other congressional entities as the Joint Committee may require. SEC. 2. During the year 1992, the Architect of the Capitol shall C£UTy out a program of special exhibits of works of art honoring Christopher Columbus. Agreed to April 4, 1990. Res. 299] Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That when the House adjourns on Wednesday, April 4, 1990, it stand adjourned until 12 o'clock meridian on Wednesday, April 18, 1990, or until 12 o'clock meridian on the second day after Members are notified to reassemble pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, whichever occurs first; and that when the Senate recesses or a4JoUms on Thursday, April 5, 1990, or on Friday, April 6, 1990, pursuant to a motion made by the Majority Leader, or his designee, it stand in recess or stand a4Joumed until 12 o'clock meridian, or until such time as may be specified by the Migority Leader or his designee in the motion to adjourn or recess, on Wednesday, April 18, 1990, or until 12 o'clock meridian on the second day after Members are notified to reassemble pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, whichever occurs first. SBC. 2. The Speaker of the House and the Msyority Leader of the Senate, acting jointly after consultation with the Minority Leader of the House and the Minority Leader of the Senate, shall notify the Members of the House and the Senate, respectively, to reassemble whenever, in their opinion, the public interest shall warrant it.
