Public Law 102-506 102d Congress An Act To amend the Ethics in Crovernment Act of 1978 to remove the limitation on the authorization of appropriations for the Office of Crovernment Ethics. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the "Office of Government Ethics Amendment of 1992". SEC. 2. REMOVAL OF THE CAP ON THE AUTHORIZATION OF APPRO- PRIATIONS. Section 405 of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1) by striking "and"; (2) in paragraph (2) by striking "each of the 5 fiscal years thereafter, and inserting "the fiscal year ending September 30, 1990; and"; and (3) by adding after paragraph (2) the following new paragraph: "(3) such sums as may be necessary for each of the 4 fiscal years thereafter.
