PUBLIC LAW 107-117-JAN. 10, 2002 115 STAT. 2315 SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION LIMITATION ON ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES For emergency expenses to respond to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States, for "Limitation on Administrative Expenses", $7,500,000, to remain available until expended, to be obligated from amounts made available in Public Law 107- 38. CHAPTER 9 LEGISLATIVE BRANCH JOINT ITEMS LEGISLATIVE BRANCH EMERGENCY RESPONSE FUND (INCLUDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS) For emergency expenses to respond to the terrorist attacks on the United States, $256,081,000, to remain available until expended, to be obligated from amounts made available in Public Law 107-38: Provided, That $34,500,000 shall be transferred to "Senate", "Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate", and shall be obligated with the prior approval of the Senate Committee on Appropriations: Provided further, That $41,712,000 shall be transferred to "House of Representatives", "Salaries and Expenses", and shall be obligated with the prior approval of the House Committee on Appropriations: Provided further. That $31,000,000 shall be transferred to "Capitol Police Board", "Capitol Police", "General Expenses": Provided further, That $350,000 shall be transferred to "Capitol Guide Service and Special Services Office": Provided further. That $106,304,000 shall be transferred to "Architect of the Capitol", "Capitol Buildings and Grounds", "Capitol Buildings": Provided further. That $29,615,000 shall be transferred to "Library of Congress", "Salaries and Expenses": Provided further. That $4,000,000 shall be transferred to the "Government Printing Office", "Government Printing Office Revolving Fund": Provided further. That $7,600,000 shall be transferred to "General Accounting Office", "Salaries and Expenses": Provided further. That $1,000,000 shall be transferred as a grant to the United States Capitol Historical Society: Provided further. That any Legislative Branch entity receiving funds pursuant to the Emergency Response Fund established by Public Law 107-38 (without regard to whether the funds are provided under this chapter or pursuant to any other provision of law) may transfer any funds provided to the entity to any other Legislative Branch account in an amount equal to that required to provide support for security enhancements, subject to the approval of the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and Senate.
