Subtitle A—Department of Defense National Security Personnel System SEC. 1101. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE NATIONAL SECURITY PERSONNEL SYSTEM.
(a) IN GENERAL.—(1) Subpart I of part III of title 5, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new chapter:

‘‘§ 9901. Definitions ‘‘For purposes of this chapter— ‘‘(1) the term ‘Director’ means the Director of the Office of Personnel Management; and ‘‘(2) the term ‘Secretary’ means the Secretary of Defense. ‘‘§ 9902.
