(A) by inserting ‘‘through leveraging of funds’’ after ‘‘maximizing funding’’; (B) by striking ‘‘a Statewide network of communitybased, prevention-focused’’ and inserting ‘‘community-based and prevention-focused’’; and (C) by striking ‘‘family resource and support program’’ and inserting ‘‘programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect (through networks where appropriate)’’. (c) TECHNICAL AMENDMENT TO TITLE HEADING.—Title II of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5116) is amended by striking the heading for such title and inserting the following:
‘‘TITLE II—COMMUNITY–BASED GRANTS FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT’’. SEC. 122. ELIGIBILITY.
Section 202 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5116a) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1)— (A) in subparagraph (A)— (i) by striking ‘‘a Statewide network of communitybased, prevention-focused’’ and inserting ‘‘communitybased and prevention-focused’’; and (ii) by striking ‘‘family resource and support programs’’ and all that follows through the semicolon and inserting ‘‘programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect (through networks where appropriate);’’ (B) in subparagraph (B), by inserting ‘‘that exists to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect’’ after ‘‘written authority of the State)’’; (2) in paragraph (2)— (A) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘a network of community-based family resource and support programs’’ and inserting ‘‘community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect (through networks where appropriate)’’; (B) in subparagraph (B)— (i) by striking ‘‘to the network’’; and (ii) by inserting ‘‘, and parents with disabilities’’ before the semicolon; (C) in subparagraph (C), by striking ‘‘to the network’’; and (3) in paragraph (3)— (A) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘Statewide network of community-based, prevention-focused, family resource and support programs’’ and inserting ‘‘communitybased and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect (through networks where appropriate)’’;
