AUTHORIZ ATIO N O F A P PROPRIATIONS. (a) BL O CKG RANT S AND GRANT R E QU IREMENTS.—Section 10 8 of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (25 U.S.C. 411 7 ) is amended in the first sentence by striking ‘‘1998 through 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘2009 through 2013’’. (b) F EDERAL GUARANTEES FOR FINANCING FOR TRI B AL HOUSING ACTI V ITIES.—Section 605 of the Native American Housing Assist- ance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (25 U.S.C. 4195) is amended in subsections (a) and (b) by striking ‘‘1997 through 2007’’ each place it appears and inserting ‘‘2009 through 2013’’. (c) TRAINING AND TEC H NICAL ASSISTANCE.—Section 703 of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (25 U.S.C. 4212) is amended by striking ‘‘1997 through 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘2009 through 2013’’. TITLE VIII— M I SC ELL A NE O US SEC. 8 01. L I M ITATION ON USE FOR CHERO K EE NATION. No funds authori z ed under this Act, or the amendments made by this Act, or appropriated pursuant to an authorization under this Act or such amendments, shall be expended for the benefit of the Cherokee Nation; provided, that this limitation shall not be effective if the Temporary Order and Temporary I njunction issued on M ay 14, 2007, by the District Court of the Cherokee Nation remains in effect during the pendency of litigation or there is a settlement agreement which effects the end of litigation among the adverse parties. SEC. 80 2 . LIMITATION ON USE OF FUN D S. No amounts made available pursuant to any authorization of appropriations under this Act, or under the amendments made by this Act, may be used to employ workers described in section 274A(h)(3)) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1324a(h)(3)).
