(2) C ERTIF I CA TI ON RE P ORT. —N ot later than 1 2 0 days after the date on w hich the President makes the certification described in section 203(c) for a fiscal year , the Comptroller G eneral of the United States shall conduct an independent analysis of the certification described in such section and shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report containing the results of the independent analysis. (c) S UBM I S SION.— T he Secretary of State may submit the reports re q uired by this section in con j unction with other reports relating to Pakistan required under other pro v isions of law, including sec - tions 1116 and 1117 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 200 9 (Public L aw 111 – 32; 123 Stat. 1906 and 1907). (d) APPROPRIATE CON G RESSIONA L COMMITTEES DEFINE D .— I n this section, the term ‘ ‘appropriate congressional committees ’ ’ means— (1) the Committee on Appropriations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the H ouse of R epresentatives; and (2) the Committee on Appropriations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate.
