Mitchell, late major-general of volunteers, who died at Beaufort, South Carolina, on the thirtieth day of October, anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty-two, of yellow fever, contracted while in the line of his duty and in the service of the United States, and that she be paid a pension of twenty-five dollars per month during her natural life, from and after the passage of this act.
