Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Bureau of Military C°¤¤¤1id¤*i°¤ 9* Justice und the corps ofjudgeadvocates of the Army be, and the same YM B'3';“; ‘;fM‘k me hereby. consolidated under the title of Judge AdVOC3tB-G€DOF31’S g,°g0msS0f ju;;6. Sec. 2. Promotions in the Judge-Advocate-General’s Department, as Promotions, how provided in the first section of this act, shall be by seniority up to and ¤1¤d°· including the rank of colonel. CHAP. 219.-An act for a bid? across the Missouri River at White Cloud, in Doni- July 5, 1884. p an County, Kansas. —-———-— Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United State; of America in Oongrcu assembled, That the Chicago and Central P¤d8;• I?°*°¤: Kansas Railroad Company an incorporation organized under the laws WhM""it°"f,1°u£‘;('a: of the State of Kansas, is hereby authorized to construct and maintain ws, a bridge across the Missouri River, at such point as may be hereafter selected by said corporation, within one mile of the town of White Cloud, in the county of Doniphan and State of Kansas, as shall best promote the public convenience and welfare and the necessities of business and commerce, and also to construct accessory works to secure the best practicable channel-way for navigation and confine the How of the water to a permanent channel at such point, and also to lay on and over said bridge
- 1 railway track for the use of any railroads that are or shall be constructed to said river at or opposite said point; and said corporation
may construct and maintain ways for wagons, carriages, and for foot.- passengers, charging and receiving reasonable toll therefor as may be approved from time to time by the Secretary of War. Sec. 2.
