States of America in Congress assembled, That. the Secretary of the Treas- Puglllztbmiipz- ury bc, and ho hereby is, authorized and directed to purchase or other- P“°h”° °f"“*°· wisc provide a suitable site, and cause to be erected thereon, at the city of Augusta, in the State of Maine, a substantial and commodious public building, with tim-proof vaults, ibn- tho use and accommodation of tha pcstroffice, United States courts, internal-revenue oillco, pension offico, and for other Government uses.
