July 31. 1891- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America. in Congress assembled, That all the right, title, and N¤*v°"·Kvinterest of the United States in and to the lots and parts of lots and the I{5r¤<1¤ ogwfed M appurtenances and appendages- thereunto belonging, comprising the "“ ”° p" ` old military post or barracks property situated at the conduence of the Ohio and Licking rivers, in the city of Newport, in the county of Campbell and State of Kentucky, be, and is hereby, granted and conveyed to the said city of Newport, to have and to hold tbr a public park forever. Sec. 2, That whenever said city shall cease to use the said property Rev¤r¤i<>¤ <>¤ ¤<>¤> for the purposes of a public park, or shall use the same or any part ““"' thereof for any other than for a public park, all the right, title, and interest hereby granted and conveyed to said city shall at once, and without any act whatever upon the part of the United States, revert to and become the property of the United States.
