Chap. 878.—An Act Directing the issue of a check in lieu of a lost check drawn by Thomas J. Hobbs, disbursing clerk, in favor of Crane and Company, of Dalton, Massachusetts.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, instructed to cause to be issued a duplicate of an original check issued by Thomas J. Hobbs, disbursing clerk of the Treasury Department, on the eighth day of July, nineteen hundred and three, numbered forty thousand and eight, upon the assistant treasurer of the United States at New York, in favor of Crane and Company, for the sum of five thousand two hundred and twenty dollars, under such regulations in regard to its issue and payment as have been prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury for the issue of duplicate checks R.S., sec.3646, p.717.under the provisions of section thirty-six hundred and forty-six, Revised Statutes of the United States.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Robert H. Mcllroy, late captain Company E, First Regiment California Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James H. Martin, late of Captain Barker`s Company, Georgia Volunteers, Florida Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Hoyt, late of Company H, Eleventh Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
