Chap. 1021.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Margaret Herold.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Margaret Herold, widow of John B. Herold, late captain Company E, Ninth Regiment Maryland Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles B. Hunt, late of Company C, First Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Street, late of Company K, One hundred and thirtieth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
