Chap. 1256.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Mary C. Leefe.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary C. Leefe, widow of John G. Leefe, late captain Company B, One hundred and sixty-second Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry, and lieutenant-colonel Thirtieth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Chap. 1257.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Thomas Dunn.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Thomas Dunn, late of Company B, Mormon Battalion Iowa Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lizzie D. Wise, widow of Frederick May Wise, late commander, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
