[Private Ne-828-1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Cmited 1.,,,,,,, Lo,,,,, States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P¤Y¤¤¤¤¤ *0- Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay to Philip Loney, late sergeant, Company I, Ninth Regiment United States nfantry, out of any mone in the Treasur not otherwise appropriated, the sum of. five hundred and fift -tliree dollars, being the amount of money belonging to the said Zoney deposited with Lieutenant J. K. Allen, acting quartermaster of said regiment, and appropriated by the United States after the death of said Allen. Approved, February 8, 1907.

Clapp, formerly Sarah A. Chadwick, the pay and allowances of a surgeon of volunteer cavalry from the fifteenth day of November, eig teen hundred and sixty-one, to December twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and the pay and allowances of an assistant surgeon of cavalry from December twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, to the twenty-lifth day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, She having served as such surgeon and assistant surgeon for the time mentioned, respectively, in the Seventh Regiment of illinois Volunteer Cavalry, under her maiden name of Sarah A.
