Ralston, L. W. dalston, J. R. §icKinnie, Henry °` Chat1lon, James M. Parker, F. B. Wortman Al honse F. Perrier, and M. A. Dickinson, sureties of William H. Gowdy, late tmaster at Fremont, Moreland, Fremont and Crip le Creek, Coldxdado, respectively, by bonds to the United States dhted August seventh, in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ninet -0ne; December nineteenth, in the year of our Lord eighteen hundrediand ninety-one; _ March tenth, in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ninety- two, and July eight , in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ninety-two, be, and they are hereby, released from their liability arismlg from any deliciency that may have occurred in the accounts of said 1lliam H. Gowdyas postmaster durin the term covered by the transcripts of accounts from the Treasurv Igepartment and from any judgment which may have been obtained thereon in favor of the United States; and the proper officcr of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to direct the cancellation and satisfaction of any and all judgments that may have been rendered against the said l/Villiam H. Gow y and the sureties aforesaid upon the said bonds or any of them. . Sec. 2. That the Secretaepiy of the Treasury of the United States be, K°*¤l>*¤•¤¤¢¤¤ and he is hereby, authoriz and directed to pay to said William H. Gowd , out of any unapproplriated money in the United States Treasury, the sum of one thousan five hundred dollars, being the amount advanced and disbursed by him while acting as such postmaster and being absolutely necessary in performing his duties as such postmaster. Approved, March 2, 1907. CHAP. 2873.-—An Act To reimburse John Waller, late postmaster at Monticello, March 2.1907. New York, for moneys expended in carrying the mails.
