SEC. 2 . There is authorized to be appropriated the sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to carry out the provisions of this Act, to be appropriated in like manner as other appropria- tions for the District of Columbia . Be it en ac ted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the ' United St ates of America in Congress assembled, Th at the Act District of eoluobia . entitled "An Act for the relief of contractors and subcontractors for house . the post offices and other buildings and work under the supervision of the Treasury Department, and for other purposes," approved August eVol- 41,p.281,amend . 25, 1919, as amended, is amended by adding the following new d bi coptance of date of sentence : " That the date April 6, 1917, shall not apply to the afore- said bid for the United States courthouse in the District of Columbia, said bid, in accordance with the circular letter from the office of the superintendent, United States Capitol Building and Grounds, dated March 17, 1917, having b een delivered on the mo rn ing of April 7, 1917 ." Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That there is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, not to exceed $50,000, to be expended for the construction and installation of barracks and the necessary utili- ties and appurtenances thereto at Ford Wadsworth, New York . SEC . 2. That there is hereby authorized to be appropriated not to exceed $1 20,000 to be expended by the Secretary of War for the co nstruction or purcha se of thre e heavy se a-going Air Corps retrievers for use in Oahu, Philippine Islands, and Albrook Field, Canal Zone .
