Verified copies or abstracts of all bids received and of the bid or bids accepted shall be promptly furnished to the Contract void for highway department of the State in which such bridge is located . A violations . failure to comply in good faith with the provisions of this section shall render null and void any contract made in violation thereof, and the Secretary of War may, after hearings, order the suspension of all work upon such bridge until the provisions of this section shall have been fully complied with . Compensation Act . (i) of section 502 of the World War Adjusted Compensation Act, Vol . 44, p. 1359, as amended, is amended to read as follows :

Use of life insurance ized, through such officers and at such regional offices, suboffices, and fund allowed for loans hospitals of the United States Veterans' Bureau as he may designate, on service certificates . and out of the United States Government life insurance fund estab- lished by section 17 of the World War Veterans' Act, 1924, as Vol. 43, p. 612. amended, to make loans to veterans upon their adjusted service cer- tificates in the same amounts and upon the same terms and condi- tions as are applicable in the case of loans made under this section by a bank, and the provisions of this section shall be applicable to such loans ; except that the rate of interest shall be 2 per centum per Rate of interest . annum more than the rate charged at the date of the loan for the discount of ninety-day commercial paper under section 13 of the vol.42, p.1479 . SEC . 2 . Sec tion 705 of t he World War A djusted Compe nsation Act, e Vo1 .44,p .830,amena- as amended, is amended to read as follows " SEC . 705 .
