Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 224 of the Judicial Code be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows : j " SEc . 224. The marshal is entitled to receive a salary of not to exceed $5,50 0 per annum, payable month ly, the same t o be fixed by the court. He shall attend the court at its sessions ; shall serve and execute all process and orders issuing from it, or made by the chief ustice or an associate justice in pursuance of law ; and shall take charge of all property of the United States used by the court or its members.
