CHAP. 81 .-An Act Gra nting the cons ent of Con gres s to the S tate High - way Commission of Virginia to maintain a bridge already constructed across the Shenandoah River in Clarke County, Virgi nia, United States r oute numbered 50 . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the State Highway Commission of Virginia, and its successors, to maintain and operate, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the con- struction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906, a bridge and approaches thereto already constructed across the Shenandoah River at Berrys Ferry, Clarke County, Virginia, which bridge is hereby declared to be a lawful structure to the same extent and in the same manner as if it had been constructed in accordance wit h the provisi ons of said A ct of March 23 , 1906 . SEC . 2 . The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Ap proved , Marc h 17, 1930 . CHAP . 82 .-An Act To legalize a bridge across the Roanoke River at Weldon, Nor th Carolina . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United State s o f America in Congress assembled, That the bridge now being constructed across the Roanoke River at Weldon, North Carolina, by t he State of N orth Carolina , if completed in accord- ance with plans accepted by the Chief of Engineers and the Secre- tary of War, as providing suitable facilities for navigation and operated as a free bridge, shall be a lawful structure, and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906, other than those requiring the approval of plans by the Secretary of War and the Chief of Engineers before construction is commenced . SEC . 2 . The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Ap proved , Marc h 17, 1930 .
