Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the times for commencing and completing the construction of the bridge across the Miss ouri Riv er, at o r near R andolph, Missour i, autho rized to be built by The Kansas City Southern Railway Company, its successors and assigns, by the Act of Congress approved May 24, 192 8, which times for commencing and completing the construction of the said bridge were extended one and three years, respectively, from May 24, 1929, by an Act approved March 1, 1929, are hereby fur th er extended one and thr ee years, respectively, from May 24, 1930. Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the first sec- tion of the Act entitled "An Act to create the White House police force, and for other purposes," approved September 14, 1922, is amend ed to read as fo llows " That there is hereby created and established for the protection of the Executive Mansion and grounds in the District of Columbia a permanent police force, to be known as the White House police . Such force shall be under the control and direct supervision of the Chief of the Secret Service Division . The members of such force shall possess privileges and powers and perform duties similar to those of the members of the Metropolitan police of the District of Columbia, and such additional privileges and duties as the Chief of the Secret Service Division may prescribe ."
