To be accepted for onward transmission, parcels sent by one of the contracting Administrations through the service of the other Administration must comply with the conditions prescribed from time to time by the intermediary Administration. ARTICLE 14. Oheck by Offtce of E:cchatnge. Check by office of 1. On the-receipt of a Parcel Mail, the receiving Office of Exchange exchange. shall check it. The insured T.larcels must be carefully comt>ared with the accompanying bills. All! discrepancies or irre~arlties noted shall be immediately reported to the despat.ching office of exchange by means of a bulletin of verification. If report is not made promptly, it will be assumed that the mail and the accompanying bills were m every respect in ;proper order. 2. ARTICLE 15. Customs fOrulJlitie6_ Fees for O'U8toma Formalities and fO'l' Delivery, Demurrage OhOlrgeJJ. etc. Fees. 1. The Administration of the country of destination may collect from the addressee for the fulfilment of Customs formalities a charge not exceeding ten cents (five marks) for each parcel. 2. The Admjnistration of delivery may collect from the addressee for de~very a fee not exceeding ten cents (five marks) for each Darcel and an additional delivery charge of like amount for each time a parcel is presented at the residence of the addressee after one unsuccessful presentation. Each Administration may impose reasonable storae,-e or demur- rage charges in case the addressee fails to accept dehvery of any parcel within such reasonable time as is prescribed by the Adminis- tration of the countr:y of destination. 4. In the event of the return of the parcel to the country of origin, the charges mentioned above shall be cancelled. ARTICLE 16. Redirection. 1. .Any pat·eel redirected within the country of destination or deliv- ered to an alternate addressee at the original office of address shall b'l liable to such additional charges as may be prescribed by the Administration of that country. 2.
