Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, Th at th e Sec retar y Sain t J Joseph, ina Conveyan of of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to convey to State, authorized . to the State of Michigan for State naval force purposes all r ight, title, and interest of the United States in and to a tract of land containing one and seven hundred and twenty-four one-thousandths acres, more or less, situated in section 23, township 4 south, range 19 west, in the county of Berrien, State of Michigan, formerly embraced within the United States lighthouse supply depot at Saint Joseph, Michigan, and transferred to the control and jurisdiction of the Navy Department for naval purposes by the Act of Congress Vol. 40,p. 719. approved July 1, 1918 (40 Stat . 704, 719) .
