[CHAPTER 769 .] AN ACT To extend th e times for commen cing and completing the construction o f a bridge acr oss the Oh io River at or near Owensboro, Kentucky . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge across the Ohio River, at or near Owensbor o, Kentucky, auth orized to be buil t by the State Highway Commission of Kentucky, by an Act of Congress approved June 9, 1932, and heretofore extended by an Act of Congress approved June 9, 1933, are hereby further extended one and three years, respectively, from the date of approval hereof . SEc . 2 . The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, August 27, 1935 . [CHAPTER 770 .] AN ACT To authorize certain homestead entrymen who are disabled Wo rld War veterans to make final proof of their entries, and for other purposes . Be it enacted by the Senate and Hou se of R epresent atives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That any entryman under th e homestea d laws of the Unite d States w ho on or after April 6, 1917, and pr ior to Nove mber 12, 1918, enlisted or was a member of the United States Army, Navy, or Marine Corps during the war with Germany, who was hon orab ly disc har ged from su ch service, whose entry was made prior to January 1, 1935, and who because of physical or mental disabilities has been or may hereafter become unable to perform the prescribed residential and improve- ment and other requirements may make proof without further resi- d ence , im prove ment , or cul tivat ion, at such time and pla ce as may be authorized and under such regulations to be issued by the Secre- tary of the Interior, and receive patent to the land by him so entered upon .
