(1) In proceedings under this section and consistent with the hereunder . provisions thereof, the jurisdiction and powers of the court, the duties of the debtr and the rights and liabilities of creditors, and of all persons with respect to the debtor and its property, shall be the same as if a vol untary petition for adjudication had been filed and a decree of adjudication had been entered on the day when the debtor's petition was filed . (m) The term "railroad corporation" as used in this amendatory tian " construed section means any common carrier by railroad engaged in the trans- portation of persons or property in interstate commerce, except a street, a suburban, or interurban electric railway which is not operated as a part of a general railroad system of transportation or which does not derive more than 50 per centum of its operating revenues from the tr ansportation of freight in standard steam rail- road freight equipment . Wherever used in this section the term " person " shall include an individual, corporation, partnership, association, joint-s tock company, unincorporated organization, or a government or political subdivision thereof .
