Division of Disbursement, salaries and expenses : For person al services in the District of Columbia a nd in the fiel d, stationery, travel, rental of equipment, and all other necessary miscellaneous and co ntinge nt exp enses , $1,427,500 : Pro vid ed, That with the approval of the Director of the Bureau of the Budget there may be transferred to this appropriation from funds available for the Agri- cultur al Adj ustmen t Adm inistr ation (incl uding transfe rs to the Bureau of Internal Revenue for administrative expenses), Federal Housing Administration, Federal Prison Industries, Railroad Retire- ment Board, So cial Security Board, and t he United Stat es Maritime Commission, such sums as may be necessary to cover the exp ense incurred in performing the function of disbursement therefor : Pro- vided further, That hereafter the provisions of the Act of August 23, 1912 (37 Stat . 375), shall not pr eclude the fu rnishing by t he Division of Disbursement, Treasury Department, at the request of administrative officers, of addressographed or stenciled lists of per- sons receiving periodic payments from the United States, which lists, as admi nistrat ively revised and ce rtifie d, if o therwis e in p roper form, may constitute the voucher upon which the Division of Dis- bursement may make payment. C onting ent ex penses , pub lic mo neys : For conti ngent expen ses under the requirements of section 3653 of the Revised Statutes (U. S. C., title 31, sec . 545), for the collection, safe-keeping, transfer, and disbursement of the public money, transportation of notes, bonds, and other securities of the United States, salaries of special agents, actual expenses of examiners detailed to examine the books, accounts, and money on h and at the se veral deposit ories, including national banks acting as depositories under the requirements of section 3649 of the Revised Statutes (U . S . C ., title 31, sec. 548), also including examinations of cash accounts at mints and cost of insurance on shipments of money by registered mail or otherwise when necessary, $200 ,000 . Recoina .ge of minor coins : To enable the Secretary of the Treasury to continue the recoinage of worn and uncurrent minor coins of the United States now in the Treasury or hereafter received, and to reim- burse the Treasurer of the United States for the difference between the nominal or face value of such coins and the amount the same will produce in new coins, $25,000 . Recoinage of silver coins : To enable the Secretary of the Treasury to continue th e recoinage o f worn and un current subsid iary silver coins of the United States now in the Treasury or hereafter received, and to reimburse the Treasurer of the United States for the differ- ence between the nominal or face value of such coins and the amount the same will produce in new coins, $600,000 . Relief of the indigent, Alaska : For the payment to the United States district judges in Alaska but not to exceed 10 per centum of the receipts from licenses collected outside of incorporated towns in Alaska, to be expended for the relief of persons in Alaska who are indigent and incapacitated through nonage, old age, sickness, or accident, $20,000 . Refund of moneys erroneously received and covered : To enable the Secretary of the Treasury to meet any expenditures of the char- acter formerly chargeable t o the appropr iation account s abolished
