[CHAPTER 561] AN ACT For the relief of the Frazier-Davis Construction Company. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the Frazier-Davis Construction Company, of Saint Louis, Mis- souri, the sum of $25,144.76 in full settlement of the claim of said company against the United States for increased cost of labor and material incurred in complying on and after August 10, 1933. with the President's Reemployment Agreement and/or the applicable approved code in the performance of its contract with the War Department dated January 19, 1933, for the construction of lock and dam numbered 5, Green River, Kentucky: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the con- trary notwithstanding. Be it enacted by the Senate and Ilowse of Reprcsentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of tile Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $3,500 to the legal guardian of Dewey Jack Krauss, of Fabens, Texas, for serious and permanent injury suffered by said Dewey Jack Krauss, while swimming in the "Water Pumps" near Fabens, Texas, which body of water is under the management and jurisdiction of the Bureau of Reclamation, Department of the Interior: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services ren- dered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
