Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in the admin- istration of the Act entitled "An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the per- formance of their duties, and for other purposes", approved Septem- ber 7, 1916, as amended by sundry Acts, including the Act of February 15, 1934 (48 Stat. 351), the United States Employees' Com- pensation Commission is hereby authorized and directed to extend the provisions of said Acts to Pauline M. Warden (nee Pauline McKinney), of Tulsa, Oklahoma, for personal injuries sustained by her on August 17, 1934, on United States Highway Numbered 77, near Wayne, Oklahoma, while in the performance of her duties as a nonrelief administrative employee of the Federal Emergency Relief Administration for the State of Oklahoma: Provided, That claim hereunder shall be filed within six months after the approval of this Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Harry Burnett, of Eunice, New Mexico, the sum of $300 in full settlement of any and all clainls against the Government on account of personal injuries sustained by him in a collision with an auto- mobile owned by the United States Government and driven by Howard H. Major, agent and employee of the Government, in the service of the Division of Grazing, on Highway Numbered 285 at a point about nine miles north of Encino, New Mexico, on December 1, 1936: Provided, That no part of the amount appro- priated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
