ACUERDO RELATIVO A GIROS POSTALES celebrado entre: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Co- lombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Dominicana, Ecuador, El Sal- vador, Espafna, Estados Unidos de America, Guatemala, Hon- duras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pana- ma, Paraguay, Perd, Uruguay y Venezuela. Los infrascritos, Plenipotencia- rios de los Gobiernos de los paises arriba mencionados, en ejercicio de la facultad conferida por el arti- culo 5 del Convenio vigente de la Uni6n Postal Universal, convienen a reserva de ratificaci6n, en esta- blecer el servicio de giros de acuerdo con las clausulas siguientes: ARTICULO 1 Objeto del Acuerdo El cambio de giros postales entre los paises contratantes cuyas Administraciones convengan en ej e- cutar este servicio, se regira por las disposiciones del presente Acuerdo. ARTICULO 2 Moneda El importe de los giros se ex- presari en la moneda del pais de destino. Sin embargo, las Ad- ministraciones quedan facultadas para adoptar de comun acuerdo otra moneda, cuando asi convenga a sus intereses. ARTICULO 3 AGREEMENT RELATIVE TO MONEY ORDERS' concluded between Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colom- bia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecua- dor, El Salvador, Spain, the United States of America, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The undersigned, Plenipoten- tiaries of the Governments of the countries above mentioned, in ex- ercise of the authority conferred by Article 5 of the Universal Postal Convention in force, agree, sub- ject to ratification, to establish the money order service in accordance with the following clauses: ARTICLE 1 Object of the agreement The exchange of money orders between the contracting countries whose Administrations agree to perform this service will be gov- erned by the present Agreement. ARTICLE 2 Money The amount of the orders will be expressed in money of the country of destination. However, the Administrations are author- ized to adopt, by mutual consent, some other money more convenient to their interests.
