Medical relief in Alaska: To enable the Secretary of the Interior, in his discretion and under his direction through the Bureau of Indian Affairs, with the advice and cooperation of the Public Health Service, to provide for the medical and sanitary relief of the Eski- mos, Aleuts, Indians, and other natives of Alaska; purchase, repair, rental, and equipment of hospital buildings; books and surgical apparatus; pay and necessary traveling expenses of physicians, nurses, and other employees, and all other necessary miscellaneous expenses which are not included under the above special heads, $492,490, to be available immediately and to remain available until June 30, 1942. 427 Washington. GENERAL SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION For general support of Indians and administration of Indian property, including pay of employees authorized by continuing or permanent treaty provisions, $2,884,520: Provided, That in the dis- cretion of the Secretary of the Interior, and under such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by him, fees may be collected from individual Indians for services performed for them, and any fees so collected shall be covered into the Treasury of the United States. Reindeer service: For supervision of reindeer in Alaska and instruction in the care and management thereof, including salaries and travel expenses of employees, purchase, rental, erection, and repair of range cabins, purchase and maintenance of communication and other equipment, and all other necessary miscellaneous expenses, including $3,000 for the purchase and distribution of reindeer, $75,000, to be immediately available, and to remain available until June 30, 1942. For general support of Indians and administration of Indian prop- erty under the jurisdiction of the following agencies, to be paid from the funds held by the United States in trust for the respective tribes, in not to exceed the following sums, respectively: Arizona: Fort Apache, $66,000; Navajo, $12,500, including all necessary expenses of holding a tribal fair, erection of structures, awards for exhibits and events, feeding of livestock, and labor and materials; Pima (Camp McDowell), $300; San Carlos, $60,000; Truxton Cafion, $12,000; in all, $150,800; California: Mission, $39,900, of which amount $4,000 shall be available for payment of the salary and expenses of an agent employed under a contract approved by the Secretary of the Interior; General support and administration.
