E . & Ministre Plenipotentiaire des Etats-Unis d'Amerique Port-au-Prince. [Translation] REPUBLIC OF HAITI DEPARTMENT OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS C.C.R.C. PORT-AU-PRINCE, June 6, 1941. MR. MINISTER: I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's note no. 59 of May 29 last, by which you were good enough to inform me that the Government of the United States of America will be glad to undertake an exchange of certain official publications with the Govern- ment of Haiti and to conclude an agreement for this purpose. On this occasion it is a pleasure for me to advise Your Excellency that the Haitian Government agrees to the exchange of publications between our two Governments, as proposed by the Government of the United States in the above-mentioned note. This exchange shall be effected in accordance with the following provisions: 1. The official exchange offices for the transmission of publications shall be, on the part of the United States of America, the Smithsonian Institution; and on the part of the Republic of Haiti, the Bibliotheque Nationale de Port-au -Prince. 2. The publications exchanged shall be received on behalf of the Government of the United States of America by the Library of Congress; and on behalf of the Government of Haiti by the Bibliothe- que Nationale de Port-au-Prince. 3. The Government of the United States of America shall furnish regularly one copy of each of the official publications included in the attached List No. 1.['] [For list as furnished by the Government of the United States of America, see p. 1281.]
